Nothing is a template. Every design decision — layout, typography, color palette, section structure — is made fresh based on your business.

Wix and Squarespace are template editors — you pick a layout someone else designed and fill in your content manually. X4 Digital doesn't use templates at all. AX-4 writes custom code, original copy, and generates a design system specific to your business. You don't drag anything or click anything — you just describe your business and the site appears. The result looks custom because it is custom.

AX-4 writes all the content — headlines, service descriptions, about sections, CTAs, and more. It bases the copy on what you share in the conversation and research it does on your industry. The more specific you are about your business, the sharper the copy will be. You can always edit any text after the site is delivered.

Yes — in a few ways. If you want minor adjustments, describe what you'd like changed and AX-4 can rebuild the relevant sections. You can also download your site as a ZIP file (all paid plans) and edit the HTML/CSS directly. Or work with any developer using the clean, well-structured code.

All sites are deployed to Cloudflare Pages — a global edge network with over 300 data centers worldwide. This means your site is fast everywhere, includes SSL by default, and has 99.99% uptime. No setup required. Hosting is included in every plan.

Yes. Custom domain support is available on all paid plans. After your site is built, you'll receive instructions to point your domain's DNS records to your X4 Digital site. The process takes about 5 minutes and usually propagates within an hour. White Glove plan includes full DNS and CDN setup by our team.

Yes, you own your website. All paid plans include ZIP export — you can download the complete site files and host them anywhere: your own server, Netlify, Vercel, or hand them to a developer. There's no lock-in. Free tier sites stay hosted by X4 Digital as long as your account is active.

Yes. All sites deployed through X4 Digital include automatic HTTPS/SSL via Cloudflare. There's nothing to configure — your site is secure from the moment it goes live.

Yes. The Free plan lets you build one complete website with no credit card required. You get the full AX-4 experience — custom design, original copy, AI images, and a live deployed site. The only difference is your site includes a small "Built with X4 Digital" footer link.

One build = one complete website session with AX-4. A typical build produces a 6–15 page custom site. If you start a build and want significant changes (new layout, different industry focus), that counts as a new build. Minor edits and fixes within the same session don't consume a build credit.

Your sites remain live until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier. We recommend downloading a ZIP export of any sites you want to keep before cancelling, in case you move to self-hosted or another platform.
